Coaching Services
In my own professional journey, utilizing coaching services has made all the difference in helping me process difficult situations, understand when and how I wanted to make a job transition, and balance my responsibilities at work and home in ways that filled my own cup.
I am a career coach — my niche is helping professionals undergo career transitions. However, I fully understand that your career fits inside a whole life, and we will look at many aspects of your life, in order to ensure that your job and your personal life are mutually reinforcing. I have been trained in the Coaches Training Institute framework, which has provided me with a variety of tools, strategies, and exercises to best help my client transform their professional and personal lives. I have clients that are actively seeking a new job, others who have a new position that they love but need to acquire leadership skills quickly, and everyone in between!
The relationship between a coach and client is a privileged one–like any relationship, it is really important to find someone that you’re compatible with — a person that you feel you can trust and can honor your honesty, emotions, and vulnerability.
Philosophy and Approach
I believe that all my clients are coming to me as whole, complex, creative individuals, juggling many roles and responsibilities — my job is to hold the space for them to develop and achieve goals, celebrate failure (yeah, I said it!), process their feelings, and undergo transformation so that they can give the world the best version of themselves. In our work together, we look at both personal and professional aspects of their lives, as I understand they are intertwined.
I also believe, however, that being a leader sometimes is a lonely endeavor. Many of my clients do not have the space to think, feel, and process experiences, develop and achieve goals to further their careers, while having someone to hold them accountable for stepping into their purpose. My goal and mission is to fill this gap and need for my clients. It’s important to remember that who you are is not what you do.
I believe that you can bring your authentic self to work, be valued for your important contributions, and still deliver results.
I don’t believe in asking you to dim your light, opinions, ideas, or anything that makes you the awesome person who you are in order to succeed. In some cases, this means I am glad to support you to switch careers or jobs so that you’re in a space that you feel appreciated, applauded, and doing what you love.
My job description as coach includes:
- Professional listener
- Thought/brainstorming partner
- Champion/cheerleader
- Goal keeper/holder
- Accountability partner
- Fellow strategist
- Challenger
I play all of these roles, and more, in the spirit of moving your goals forward, and deepening your learning about yourself. I’m glad to serve you with a lot of empathy and honesty, with a dash of laughter.
My Ideal Client
All of my clients are smart, introspective, ambitious professionals who want to make the world a better place, while being their amazing, authentic selves.
